Beatles Make Finland Debut
The
Mersey Beatles play for the first time in Finland this March.
They will play two nights at The Peacock Theatre in Helsinfors
(Helsinki).
The
Beatles are very popular in Finland despite the fact they never
once played there and, as far as we know, there are very few bands,
including tribute bands, that have ever played Beatles music in
Finland.
The
Mersey Beatles
will put that right on 5th and 6th March with two very special
3 set shows.
They
will include all the hits from the 'Beatlemania era', like She
Loves You, Eight Days A Week, and I Want To
Hold Your Hand.
Then
a
mystery tour through the 'psychedelic years' with such classics
as Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds, Sgt Pepper's Lonely
Hearts Club Band and I Am The Walrus in the second
set.
Finally
in the third set those favourites from the later years like Something,
Come Together and Get Back.
At
last Beatles music comes to Finland, and what better way to hear
it than with Liverpool's latest and greatest tribute to the Fab
Four, The
Mersey Beatles.
A splendid time is guaranteed for all.
